Aquapolis Pools and Gyms Bassano

The Aquapolis is not old and in good maintenance condition, it is clean and they play good music. The showers have enough and warm water with quite constant temperature. So far, so good. In the changing room there are lockers for your stuff, but they are pretty useless, unless you bring your own padlock. Come on. It's the 21st century meanwhile ... The tiles in the whole area are VERY slippery. Besides the padlock you should also bring some slippers with some really sticky soles. And of course you need to bring a swimming cap. Don't know why. Have been swimming in many other countries without ... The main pool is 25 meters long and has quite a few lanes. I think 8, if I recall correctly. The water temperature is nice for swimming. Unfortunately they manage the lanes in a very strange way, that only leaves 2 lanes for all normal guests. There was 1 lane for "slow" swimmers and 1 lane for "intermediate" swimmers but there were 3 lanes for "fast" swimmers. Practically all normal people had to squeeze into 2 lanes and it was very full there, while the "sporty people" had much more space. I wonder how much more they pay in order to get so much more space ?! 3 lanes of the main pool were reserved for some kind of training. One of the two smaller pools was occupied by a training group too and the second smaller pool could also not be used (for no obvious reason). As I am not a member of one the preferred groups of people, I felt a bit ripped off. I will definitely try other choices.

Before the Covid period, I attended the swimming pool and returned this year combining the gym and the swimming pool. The pools are beautiful, in a bright, well-kept, pleasant environment. The changing rooms are large and always clean, promptly repaired when any faults occurred. The gym seems to me to be undersized compared to the number of equipment present, which can hinder free use. Crowded in the afternoon and evening, it is easily accessible in the morning. Membership price higher than the average of other gyms in Bassano. Discounts for over 65s. Possibility of 10 entrances or 20 (gym and swimming pool) to be used in six months.
